After purchasing a new sofa and getting stuck, the homeowners hired AWID to help move the project forward. Requesting a more modern aesthetic to their traditional home, the young family wanted a casual yet refined space. A space where they could entertain friends and family, while remaining kid friendly. AWID incorporated the homeowners love of turquoise and vintage mid-century furniture, but kept the space fresh and eclectic. The kitchen layout worked and the cabinetry was high quality, just the wrong color, so AWID selected two new paint colors for the cabinets, had some new cabinet doors built. The gorgeous Taj Mahal quartzite countertops, slab backsplash, and the beautiful copper accents are pièce de résistance. This project was featured in 5280 Home magazine.
