The homeowners reached out to AWID to tackle an extensive reimagining of this secluded mountain home to improve flow and utilization of the large space to make it both comfortable and cozy yet open and airy. The project included raising a "sunken" living room, reconfiguring an expansive wall of windows, removing and relocating walls throughout the main floor including the master suite, converting an unused dining room to accommodate a second office for the homeowner, a new luxury kitchen, powder room, and mudroom.
